Randall Pepper and North Tamarind Fieldtrips

Welcome to the Innovation Empire blog! These entries will be to give insight to the exciting events and workshops we host for our FUSD (Fontana Unified School District) staff and students.

This month we had the pleasure of working with 4th grade classes from Randall Pepper Elementary and North Tamarind Elementary. The students came down and completed our 3D clay modeling workshop. In reality, many of us have 3D modeled from an early age whether it’s with sandcastles at the beach, Play-Doh at home, or clay in an art class. These 4th grade classes got to learn and understand how creating a 3D model of something can be scanned and computed into being printed to have a copy of their very own creation. Some examples of the creations made by these awesome 4th graders are a gaming controller, rabbits in a garden, flowers, and all kinds of snowmen!

Stay tuned for more clay workshop creations from different classes and students throughout the district!
